Text Box: Classes of Resident Memberships

Family Membership - This membership is available to legally married couples. The stockholder must be eighteen (18) years of age or more and have been approved for and accepted membership in the Club.

Honorary Membership - This membership is available for a person, male or female, who, by virtue of outstanding and unusual merit, has been offered, and has accepted an honorary membership in the Club. An Honorary Member is entitled to all the privileges in the Club except the right to vote or to hold office. Honorary members are dues exempt.

Junior Family Membership - This membership is available when the primary member is no less than eighteen (18) years of age and no older than thirty-four (34) has been approved for and has accepted membership in the Club. A Junior Member is entitled to all privileges in the Club except the right to vote or to hold office. A junior member is not required to purchase a share of stock, however upon either the primary member or spouse reaching the age of thirty five (35), the privileges of being a Junior Member shall terminate and said Junior Member shall be required to purchase a share of stock within a time frame and at the price set by the Board of Directors. If a Junior Family Member makes application to become a full Family Member, and if there is no waiting list, said Junior Member applicant shall have preference and priority over other applicants for membership. If the Family Membership is at maximum, then the Junior Membership will be extended until a full Family Membership becomes available.

Retired Membership - This membership is available for a stockholder member who has maintained his or her Class A membership without disruption for twenty (20) years, or who has been a Class A member for a total of twenty-five (25) years with a disruption, and in each case has reached the age of sixty-five (65) years, and has elected to be granted retired membership upon application to the Board and surrender of their stock. A Retired Member is entitled to all privileges of the Club except the right to vote and to hold office.

Single Membership - This membership is available to a single person, male or female, no less than thirty-five (35) years of age, unmarried or legally divorced, widowed, with no children, or with children over 23 years of age, has been approved for, and has accepted membership in the Club.

Single Member with Dependents - This membership is available for single persons, male or female, no less than thirty-five (35) years of age, unmarried, legally divorced, or widowed with unmarried dependent children less than 18 years of age or who have dependent children between the ages of 18 and 23 who are residing at home or are in college, have been approved for and have accepted membership in the Club.

Legacy Membership - Allows children or grandchildren of members or past members who have been members of Bocage for 20 years or more to join the club for a reduced initiation fee. All other membership requirements apply.

Non Resident Memberships

Non Resident Membership - This membership is available for any club membership defined in Section 1A above that reside beyond a forty (40) mile radius of the Club.

Applicants will be notified in writing of the action taken by the Board of Directors regarding 
membership applications. The Club membership ceiling is 630 stockholder members.
During periods of full membership, applicants will be placed on a waiting list.

NOTICE: If your application is received prior to a Board approved Membership Special, that 
special will not apply to your application.

For an application to be considered all fees must accompany the application.
